ONDAMED Biofeedback Device
The ONDAMED Biofeedback device is based on the principle of electro-magnetic induction. The device produces a highly focused pulsed electromagnetic field that penetrates deep into a target region of the body to painlessly stimulate tissues and “jump-start” cellular activities.

The Ondamed is registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a Biofeedback Class II medical device, Category Neurology. It is not FDA approved to diagnose or treat any medical condition as of yet, but it has been approved for use under the supervision of AAABEM, an Institutional Review Board, as safe for research or clinical testing as a non-invasive therapeutic device in the treatment of pain, discomfort, or general malaise. What is it like to Receive ONDAMED Therapy?
The Treatment Procedure
During an ONDAMED session at Emerald Wellness, the patient sits or reclines comfortably in a chair, fully clothed. The trained practitioner places applicators appropriately and scans the body with a range of supportive frequencies to determine which are required for therapy. The system will determine the optimal PEMF protocol for the patient. Most sessions last between 30-60 minutes.
How many Treatments does a Patient Require?
The number of treatments varies depending on the condition being addressed and the patient’s response. Programs addressing chronic conditions usually work best with repeated applications over weeks or months. Other therapies may give lasting benefit with just one application, such as smoking cessation.
What does the treatment feel like?
Generally the patient will not notice the low dose PEMFs being administered to the body. Some patients report a slight tingling sensation or feeling of warmth. Many patients report feeling a state of relaxation during and after the session. Sometimes the therapy can start a detox reaction in the body which can present with mild symptoms of headache and fatigue. These symptoms are usually brief and a good sign. It is reccomended to drink plenty of water to help facilitate the detoxification process.
Are there any Restrictions after the Treatment?
No, there is no necessary downtime after an ONDAMED session and the patient can go about their regular activities.

Yes. ONDAMED therapy has been evaluated by the FDA as a safe biofeedback class II medical device. The therapeutic pulsed electromagnetic fields being applied to the body are less powerful than the EMFs produced by the average cell phone and they are designed to have safe, positive effects on the body.
